Tennis and Yoga Nidra

 

I added this section because tennis is one of my passions. I have been playing competitively and fun for many years. I am always on the search for new methods to increase my physical game, as well as find ways to improve my mental game. I believe through my regular practice of Yoga Nidra, I have seen my mental state become sharper and more grounded. 

I find I’m using my breath more accurately than ever before. I apply what I’ve learned through breath awareness to not only tennis but to my equestrian passion as well. There is something magical that happens when you and your horse experience a oneness of calm steady breathing together. Keeping my breath calm, keeps him calm. We become a team in perfect sync. We move quietly, with pace, feeling each other in every moment. The practice of Yoga Nidra helps me drop into that calm, steady breath quickly so I can relax and enjoy my time with him. I truly believe in the power and revealing nature of Yoga Nidra. I encourage everyone to find their way to experience a guided Yoga Nidra meditation.
